I’ve been building International 14 foils since 1996, and have built over 150 sets mostly for the US, Canada and Australia.
These foils are built in a multiple step, three day process, to produce the lightest, and most reliable I-14 foils on the market.
I do all the work myself, and I get better at it with every set produced. My business has succeeded strictly by recommendations so keeping my quality very high is top priority to me. For those of you who didn't know that these foils are being made here, now you do and I look forward to hearing from you.

The machined molds for these foils are very high quality, and produce beautiful foils.
The laminate design, core, and shear web design of these foils has been worked out by Paul and myself over many years. We had some foils break in the beginning, learned a lot, and have had an excellent track record for many years now. These foils are not simple to build. There are many steps taken to keep them light and make them accurate. For a complete set of foils, there are 64 separate pieces of carbon.

I have the molds for the B-3 & B-2 foils , and these are in near perfect shape. To build foils from these molds, I need at least a couple of orders.

I am now producing a larger, forward mounted hydrofoil. Paul Bieker recently
calculated that there would be an overall drag reduction when carrying more load on the hydrofoil.

This hydrofoil is 15% larger than what I was building in 2008. the span is 1300mm (4'3")compared to 1145mm (3'9"). Chord length is 110 mm compared to 100 for the old hydrofoil.

Assembly is still done by gluing the hydrofoil into the slot in the rudder and laminating carbon into the rebates.
Gluing the two parts together is much easier with the forward mounted hydrofoil as an alignment jig is not needed but only a flat table and a small jig that is included with your rudder, Laminating the carbon however does require skill.
Assembly instructions with photos and all the parts needed for assembly are included with each rudder
.

Prices quoted in US$ not including shipping

Dagger-boards: $1,350.-
Assembled hydrofoil rudder: $1,750.-
Rudder & Hydrofoil ready to be assembled: $1,450.- *

*Shipping an assembled hydrofoil rudder is often cost prohibitive, and I ship a lot of these disassembled, with the parts, and a text & photo manual for assembly. This is a tricky job, and it’s best to find someone locally who can build the alignment jig, and get good at the process.

Shipping:From Port Townsend with Fed-Ex, DHL or UPS.
Crates: I charge a small fee for making shipping crates.
